Dear Jasmine, you are moving to Vienna for GRUBER Logistics! How did this happen?<\/b><\/p>\n
When I started working here in Auer in the Full Truck Load Division last year, I immediately expressed my willingness to go abroad for a longer period of time. This year, the colleagues from the Business Unit FTL and Human Resources approached me and asked if I would like to move to Vienna for an indefinite period of time.<\/span><\/p>\n What do you expect from your relocation?<\/b><\/p>\n I am looking forward to growing on a personal level, but also to facing new challenges at work: Ora is a large branch with 80 employees, plus another 80 colleagues from the headquarters. In Vienna, there are five of us, including two interns. After that, I spent a year helping out in the HR department for a few hours a week while I was still studying. When I graduated in 2021, Verena von Dellemann approached me right away. I was very happy to come back – I made a deliberate decision to start in the Full Truck Load department.<\/span><\/p>\n What is it about the transport and logistics industry that makes it so attractive to you that you have decided to work in this field?<\/b><\/p>\n I actually grew up with the transport industry – my father is a truck driver. The internship here at GRUBER Logistics was more of a coincidence, but when I started here in 2021, it was a fully aware decision for the field of transport. And since I want to learn the profession from scratch, starting out in the dispatching department was the only right way for me.<\/span><\/p>\n In your opinion, what makes working in a dispatching department special?<\/b><\/p>\n I love the variety of tasks and it’s never boring: no matter how well you plan, something will always come up at the end of the day – and you have to solve these problems by yourself, no one else will will do it for you. Apart from that, you’re in contact with other people all day long, and you’re constantly switching back and forth between all the languages you know.<\/span><\/p>\n Why would you recommend to work in GRUBER Logistics?<\/strong><\/p>\n Because, from a professional point of view, it gives you so many different opportunities that can help you grow and learn. On the other hand, GRUBER Logistics is a place full of nice and interesting people who make working here pleasant and so much fun!<\/p>\n Final question: where do you see yourself in 10 years?<\/b><\/p>\n In 10 years, I hope I will still be at GRUBER Logistics, but with my own team, and back in Ora.
