In view of Turkey’s economic growth and its increasing strategic importance, GRUBER Logistics expanded into the Turkish market as early as the beginning of 2023. Now the company has completed its start-up phase, reorganising its activities to make the most of its positioning in connections between Europe and Asia.
The start-up phase involved carrying out new activities, such as conducting thorough research to understand local market dynamics, including demand, competition, and the regulatory framework. The Turkish logistics sector is experiencing rapid growth, supported by significant investments in infrastructure. This growth presents both opportunities and challenges that new market entrants must be able to address. This has led to the creation of a new local team, with two offices in Istanbul and Izmir. The conclusion of the first phase of GRUBER Logistics’ project in the country also corresponds to an expansion of services\u2014a necessary step to coordinate the growing range of activities managed in the country.
