TRA2024, held in Dublin from 15 to 18 April, focused on the theme <em>&#8220;Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With over 4,000 participants, TRA brings together global logistics and transport experts. <strong>GRUBER Logistics, invited by the European Commission, took part in the panel entitled &#8220;Logistics Decarbonisation Champions&#8221;<\/strong>, alongside Procter &amp; Gamble, the European Commission (DG MOVE), Kuehne Logistics University, DHL Express Europe, Port de Barcelona, and Future Proof Shipping B.V.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TRA (Transport Research Arena) is the leading European transport research and innovation event, covering all transport modes and all aspects of mobility. In this framework, <a class=\"ng-star-inserted\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gruber-logistics.com\/2023\/11\/08\/book-claim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Book&amp;Claim<\/a> represents a strategic opportunity to seize.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Paradigm shift in electric HDV research and innovation:<\/b> as stated by Fernando Liesa (<a class=\"ng-star-inserted\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etp-logistics.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALICE<\/a>), <i data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"111\">\"We are trying to play football with a basketball\"<\/i>. The objective cannot simply be bridging the gap with diesel trucks, but developing different logistics models and designing new vehicles based on them.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Support for digitalised horizontal cooperation:<\/b> cooperation among different supply chain actors to share resources has always been conceived between carriers. Support should instead be prioritized for companies operating in the LTL and Groupage sectors, which have already initiated collaboration schemes but still have a limited level of digitalisation.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Promoting intermodality through cooperation:<\/b> collaboration among carriers to foster intermodality represents a true turning point. Initiatives such as <i data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"170\">Alice Express<\/i> need to be supported and potentially expanded.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">In conclusion, GRUBER Logistics reiterated the importance of a comprehensive approach to address key industry challenges, placing transparency, innovation, collaboration, and sustainability at the core to shape the future of mobility.<\/p>","video":null},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
