The goal is to<sup><\/sup> become one of the leading players across the entire logistics market in Europ<sup><\/sup>e in the coming years.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A major European alliance has been formed in the logistics sector: Gruber Logistics, an international company founded in South Tyrol, and Universal Transport from North Rhine-Westphalia have decided to embark on a shared path for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following final review and approval by the German antitrust authorities, the partnership closing ceremony took place yesterday, 19 September. The merger of the two companies through the acquisition of Universal Transport by Gruber Logistics marks the first step in a major journey of internationalisation and growth. The previous management teams of both companies will unite to form the new four-member board, aiming to pursue the growth path initiated by Gruber Logistics and become one of Europe&#8217;s leading logistics providers, not only in the heavy and oversized transport sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We were rethinking our long-term strategy and felt that the right choice was to become part of GRUBER Logistics.
