We had long been awaiting the arrival of a hydrogen truck on the European market, and in the vehicle developed by Nikola Motor we finally found the answer to our needs,\u201d stated Martin Gruber, CEO of GRUBER Logistics. \u201cWe are in contact with the manufacturer and will take <sup><\/sup>part in the official launch event taking place in a few weeks <sup><\/sup>in Arizona. Furthermore, compared to electric vehicles, hydrogen-powered ones offer superior envi<\/span><span class=\"citation-975 citation-end-975\">ronmental benefits: in fact, since they draw energy from fuel cells, they completely eliminate the problem<\/span>s <span class=\"citation-972 citation-973 citation-974 citation-end-974\">associated with battery production and disposal, which are otherwise essential for electric trucks.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container luminous-sources ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"citation-966 citation-967 citation-968 citation-end-968\">Meanwhile, GRUBER Logistics is already prep<\/span><span class=\"citation-966 citation-967 citation-end-967\">aring the ground for the arrival of Nikola 3 in Italy. South Tyrol has always played a <\/span><span class=\"citation-966 citation-end-966\">pioneering role in the field of sustainable mobility. This is demonstrated by the presence of the production facility of th<\/span>e Hydrogen Centre of Bolzano South, considered one of the largest and most innovative in the world.<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<div class=\"container\">\r\n<div id=\"model-response-message-contentr_a85ee974557c55c9\" class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel enable-luminous-fast-follows enable-updated-hr-color md-content\" dir=\"ltr\" aria-busy=\"false\" aria-live=\"polite\">\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">\u201cThe Bolzano Hydrogen Centre is the result of a fruitful partnership between Autostrada del Brennero A22 and the Institute for Innovative Technologies (IIT), with the support of the Provincial Government and EU funds,\u201d says Thomas Klauser, Director of Administration, Communication and Technology at the Centre. \u201cTogether with A22, we have set ourselves the goal of improving the quality of life for the local community by promoting sustainable and innovative technologies. The current request for cooperation from GRUBER Logistics fits perfectly into the expansion plan for the hydrogen network in South Tyrol and, in partnership with A22, along the Brenner corridor.
