The bridge connecting the two buildings of the sporting goods manufacturer consists of a total <sup><\/sup>of 140 tonnes of steel and glass, has a length of 85 metres, and is situated ab<sup><\/sup>ove Hans-Ort-Ring.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project commissioned by PUMA was carried out by Heinrich Lamparter Sta<sup><\/sup>hlbau, an industrial construction specialist based in Hesse. Universal Transport was commissioned with the road transport of four bridge segments between Lamparter&#8217;s headquarters in Kaufungen (near Kassel) and Herzogenaurach. Not to be taken for granted were the total combination length of 45 metres and navigating the approximately 300-kilometre route, which required precise and meticulous planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universal Transport transported the four segments from Kaufungen to the PUMA site in Herzogenaurach over two different weeks, after which the segments were installed there. Each transport operation took two days, utilizing so-called \u201cadapters\u201d.
