GRUBER Logistics has maintained an established partnership with the client for many years, continuously managing the transport of various gas extraction machinery (including pipe profiling machines, cable reels, electrodes, workshop containers, etc.). The transport of several heavy gas extraction units from Dubai (UAE) to Port Said (EG) proved particularly complex from a logistics standpoint.
TRANSPORT UAE – EGYPT
We transported gas extraction equipment from the port of Jebel Ali, 35 km from Dubai, to Port Said, Egypt.
INTERMODAL LOGISTICS
The cargo was first transported overland across the desert in Saudi Arabia, followed by Ro-Ro vessel transit across the Red Sea to enter Egypt.
8 MATERIAL SHIPMENTS
Having met the client’s requirements efficiently, volume grew from an average of 3 shipments to 8 within a few months.
LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS
We completed the transport in Egypt through a local partner, as personnel departing from the UAE were not authorized to enter the Egyptian port area.
