Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of transformers of various types and sizes. For over 120 years, the company has played a pioneering role in the electrical energy sector, dedicated to developing cutting-edge techniques and materials that have paved the way for major technological advancements. GRUBER Logistics boasts a long-standing partnership with the client and, since 2019, has also been a certified supplier for the transport of industrial transformers exceeding 40 tonnes across major European countries. Among the many assignments handled, particularly complex due to terrain morphology and installation challenges, was the transport of 10 transformers from Italy to Greece, for which GRUBER Logistics delivered a best-in-class service recognized by the client.
Transport of 10 transformers
Each transformer weighed 80 tonnes with an overall height of 4 meters.
International transport
The transformers were loaded at the client’s production facility in Monselice (PD) and transported to Nafpaktos, Greece.
Intermodal logistics
The GRUBER Logistics convoy delivered the transformers to its Greek partner, who then loaded the cargo onto a vessel, taking it to its final destination.
Safety and punctuality
The transformers arrived at their destination on schedule and in complete safety.
