Gruber Logistics strengthens its leadership with Marco Manfredini

Gruber Logistics is further strengthening its management team: starting in early March, Marco Manfredini will join the executive leadership of the South Tyrol-based transport and logistics company as Managing Director. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the logistics sector, Marco Manfredini will be responsible for the Full Truckload (FTL) and heavy haulage/exceptional transport business units, as well as the management of the fleet, which currently numbers 850 vehicles and 1500 semi-trailers.

Together with Martin Gruber, CEO of Gruber Logistics, and Marcello Corazzola, also Managing Director, Marco Manfredini will form the company’s executive board. This new appointment will help further strengthen Gruber Logistics’ profile as a leading market player and expand its business operations.

Marco Manfredini, born in 1968, has held various executive positions throughout his career, including Chief Operating Officer of the Arcese Group and Managing Director of the Codognotto Group. “We are very pleased to welcome Marco Manfredini to our team,” said Martin Gruber, CEO of Gruber Logistics. “We are confident that Marco Manfredini, with his extensive experience and dedication, will be a valuable asset to our company.”

The new Managing Director commented on joining Gruber Logistics: “I look forward to this new challenge with confidence and high expectations for working alongside the talented team at Gruber Logistics. Together, we will work committedly to achieve our goals and further strengthen the company.”

Despite the challenging market conditions characterizing the current European economy, Gruber Logistics maintains its strong momentum. It recently completed the group integration of project cargo specialist Züst & Bachmeier Project, expanding its service portfolio and driving further growth in this logistics segment. In fleet management and emission-reduced transport logistics, Gruber Logistics has announced new partnerships since the beginning of the year for sourcing alternative fuels, new agreements for the procurement of HVO and Bio-LNG, as well as new electric vehicles set to join the fleet.
