Marcello Corazzola, Board Member and Executive Director of GRUBER Logistics, was interviewed by the Turkish magazine KargoHaber following the opening of two offices in the country, in Istanbul and Izmir.

Here are three statements by Marcello excerpted from the article and translated into English.

1. “Our service network is expanding in Turkey. The opening of Izmir and Istanbul is an important and significant step for us, especially considering our potential development within the country, both for further locations and as HUBs towards the rest of East Asia. This service network will help us ‘build’ a bridge to that part of the world.”
2. “Turkey has great expertise in various sectors, particularly textiles, automotive, and electronics. We therefore view our presence in Turkey as a major opportunity to further develop these activities.
   Our approach is primarily based on customer satisfaction and safeguarding their interests; in fact, our employees focus on support from production to market. This means ours is a solution-oriented approach, and looking ahead, by building closer relationships with customers, we will move forward together. Our business is based on trust!”
3.  “Turkey is a very interesting market, and there are highly qualified and experienced professionals working in logistics. It is clear that the Turkish market has enormous growth potential and will likely continue to grow over the next 5–6 years, especially when compared to Europe.
   I believe that, from a strategic standpoint, partnering with Turkey is the right move. I believe logistics companies need to be more transparent and clear throughout the entire process, and in my view, Turkey is consistently focused on this aspect.”
