GRUBER Logistics closes 2019 with a turnover of 360 million Euros
GRUBER Logistics has once again demonstrated great financial soundness and entrepreneurial courage, closing 2019 with a consolidated turnover of 360 million euros (+ 4,7% compared to the previous year). Furthermore, 2019 marked several records for the South Tyrolean company: 8 new branches were opened across Europe within a year, and over 1000 employees are currently employed across its six different business units.
Although the employment landscape is now more uncertain than ever due to the crisis triggered by the Coronavirus, GRUBER Logistics has adopted a strategy over the past year that goes against the general trend, deciding to focus efforts and investments on launching a series of internal initiatives, including team-building activities and online workshops, aimed at promoting its corporate values.
“The real competitive factor for a service company is the people who work there” – explains Martin Gruber, Group CEO – “Today more than ever, we deemed it important to rediscover ourselves through our values, involving all our employees in this journey. The crisis is behind us and today we must be ready to face this new market condition as a team.”

The values defined by GRUBER Logistics – “Challenge, Motivation, Trust and Improvement” (https://www.gruber-logistics.com/valori/#Home) – have been an essential part of the Group’s identity since its foundation in 1936, and will continue in the coming years to be at the center of a corporate journey that aims to put employees at the core of its operations, defining together with them the goals and the path to achieve them.
Already in 2018, GRUBER Logistics had launched a series of projects aimed at strengthening its positioning in two key areas of corporate strategy: digitalization and sustainability in transport. Digital investments led to Gruber Beyond, a 360-degree business process digitalization project, culminating in the in-house development of a platform for online tracking and shipment management. In the field of environmental sustainability and ECO-innovation, the company has focused entirely on the continuous renewal of its fleet, which today also includes liquefied natural gas vehicles, to which a hydrogen-powered vehicle will soon be added, the first in Europe.
