GRUBER Logistics tests a new track & trace service for multimodal transport

Our Bremen branch is testing a tracking system that allows us to automatically monitor project cargo shipments at any time.

In this way, the transport of a chemical dosing system from the Netherlands to Shanghai has already been successfully tracked.

“The trackers measure 10×5 cm and can therefore accompany any type of cargo,” explains Head of PAO Carsten Sommer. “We are thus able to monitor even conventional (i.e. non-containerized) shipments from the point of origin to the point of receipt, and we can offer our customers immense added value through the transmission of relevant data – including not only position, but also information such as temperature, humidity, light exposure, and vibration, if required.”
