Turkey – Istanbul and Izmir open their doors to GRUBER Logistics
GRUBER Logistics has opened two offices in Turkey to explore and connect two of the world’s largest regions, Europe and Asia.
The expansion into Turkey is driven by the country’s strategic location, its extensive network of ports and airports, and its access to global markets. The country has always been a hub for international freight flows, but growth forecasts are now being revised even higher. The key driver is the shortening of logistics chains, set to bring the Mediterranean back to the center of international freight flows.
“Turkey is the meeting point of two cultural paradigms, Asian and European, which have come together and interacted for centuries, creating incredible richness.”
— Marcello Corazzola, Managing Director and Board Member of GRUBER Logistics.
The focus will remain firmly on developing the country’s import and export activities to and from Europe. Naturally, the targeted growth will also encompass intermodal flows by sea and rail from Turkey to Trieste and Germany (Cologne and Duisburg).

The new openings in Turkey will contribute to job creation: the hiring plan anticipates recruiting at least twenty people, some of whom have already joined the team.
“We are thrilled about this new venture in one of the most important countries for the region’s economic growth, as it lies at the heart of a broad spectrum of cultural, economic, and political networks, making it a crucial link. We will share all of our expertise and offer streamlined, innovative options to contribute to the development of the country.”
— Marcello Corazzola
The company firmly believes in sustainability and ethical business practices, constantly striving for new and innovative solutions.
With this new presence, GRUBER Logistics strengthens its role among the leading Turkey-Europe carriers, providing efficient, tailor-made logistics solutions to meet the demands of an ever-evolving market.
As part of strengthening the existing network, a key role is played by the historic Verona branch, a crucial hub for many European routes. Find out more about the GRUBER Logistics branch in Verona.
