Gruber Logistics celebrates and supports Pride Month

June is all about the rainbow. Behind its colors lies a serious cause: raising awareness and protesting against discrimination affecting LGBTQ+ people, which still prevails in many contexts.

At Gruber Logistics, we want to take a clear stand by promoting an open and welcoming corporate culture founded on respect and the appreciation of differences.

Gruber Logistics

Support for the initiative of the Province of Bolzano

The Autonomous Province of Bolzano, where Gruber Logistics has its headquarters, is part of the RE.A.DY Network, the national network of Regions and Local Authorities committed to:

  • Preventing and combating discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

  • Protecting the human rights of all individuals, as recognized by the Italian Constitution, European regulations, and international law.

Gruber Logistics actively supports this initiative alongside other local organizations. Among the concrete actions promoted is the display of the rainbow flag, an international symbol of identity for the LGBTQ+ community.

Why June?

Pride Month is observed in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which took place in New York on June 28, 1969.

Following a police raid at the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street, patrons and regulars rebelled, giving birth to the modern LGBTQ+ civil rights movement. To commemorate that event and renew its message of equality, June has become the global month dedicated to pride and celebrating diversity.
