Marco Manfredini appointed new Chief Operating Officer of GRUBER Logistics
A new chapter begins for GRUBER Logistics. The company announces an important evolution in its top management: starting from September 18, Marco Manfredini has assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), joining CEO Martin Gruber at the helm of the South Tyrolean group.
Manfredini’s appointment represents a crucial step, aimed at creating strategic synergy between Martin Gruber’s long-term vision and the proven operational management expertise of Marco Manfredini, former General Manager of major multinational companies in the sector. This partnership combines the historic roots of GRUBER Logistics with a leaner and more efficient internal organization. The decision to consolidate operations responsibilities under a single figure aims to foster greater synergy across business areas, with the goal of optimizing performance and operational costs.
Having already been part of the team for several months as Managing Director, Marco Manfredini has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in full truckload (FTL) transport, heavy and exceptional transport, and the management of the extensive fleet of 2,350 vehicles. In his new role, he will extend his responsibilities to the overall operations management, with the objective of driving innovation and streamlining the Group’s internal structure.
“Our decision to centralize operational responsibilities under a single figure will allow us to better integrate the company’s individual business areas and to focus more closely on service quality by increasing standardization,” says Martin Gruber, CEO of GRUBER Logistics, explaining the rationale behind the decision. “This way, our company will have, from an organizational standpoint, the flexibility and capability to best face the challenges of the coming years.”
The appointment of Marco Manfredini as Chief Operating Officer reflects the dynamism that has enabled GRUBER Logistics to double its turnover over the past five years. The ability to adapt its internal structure is nothing new, but rather an ongoing spirit of evolution that enables the company to respond agilely to market changes and seize new growth opportunities.
