Energy, Oil & Gas: Saipem relies on GRUBER Logistics
Saipem is a leading company in engineering, drilling, and construction of major projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. It is “One-Company” organized in five business divisions (Offshore E&C, Onshore E&C, Offshore Drilling, Onshore Drilling, and XSight, dedicated to conceptual design). Saipem is a global solution provider with distinctive skills and competences and high-tech assets, which it uses to identify solutions aimed at satisfying customer requirements. Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in over 70 countries worldwide and has more than 35,000 employees from over 120 nationalities. GRUBER Logistics has established a consolidated partnership with the customer for many years now, continuously handling the transport of multiple machinery gas extraction (including pipe profiling machinery, cable reels, electrodes, workshop containers, etc.). Particularly complex from the logistical point of view was the transport of some heavy machinery for the extraction of gas from Dubai (UAE) to Port Said (e.g.).
TRANSPORT FROM THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES TO EGYPT
We transported gas extraction material from the Jebel Ali port, 35 km from Dubai, to Port Said, Egypt.
We carried out the transport initially on land, crossing the Saudi Arabian desert and then by Ro-Ro ship across the Red Sea and into Egypt.
8 LOADS OF MATERIAL
Having responded efficiently to our customer's needs, we increased from an average of 3 loads to 8 in just a few months.
We completed the transport to Egypt thanks to one of our local partners since personnel departing from the Arab Emirates was not allowed to enter the Egyptian port area.
Energy: Siemens Energy relies on GRUBER Logistics

Faced with fierce competition in the energy sector, Siemens relies on efficient and flexible partners. Siemens selected GRUBER Logistics as its logistics partner for transport requirements in Germany and Europe of several types of materials and machinery for power management and transmission.
DAILY FTL/LTL TRANSPORT
We provide daily transport of partial and full loads (FTL/LTL) among suppliers, plants, external business partners, and customers in Germany and in several other European countries.
TRANSPORT OF HEAVY LOADS
We also provide customized and complex transport solutions for particularly bulky and heavy goods such as transformers, turbines, and electrical panels.
In addition to our modern fleet of megatrailers, we also have a broad range of our own special vehicles, such as low-bed semitrailers or modular trailers, which are flexible and suitable for multiple types of loads.
Our dedicated customer service team works for Siemens with great energy and passion, because understanding a customer's special needs and being close to them is a key factor in ensuring smooth transport.
